About the studioA studio built around one simple toast
Zdrave & Schtastie means "health and happiness" in Bulgarian. It is a family toast, and it turned out to be a decent business plan too: do fewer things, explain them properly, and stay honest about what wellness coaching can and cannot do.

Jared Perry, owner & lead coach
I spent fifteen years in logistics, most of it on rotating shifts between Marietta and Parkersburg. I ate at 2am, slept in daylight, and told myself it was fine until it very clearly wasn't. What pulled me out wasn't a cleanse or a gadget — it was a handful of boring routines that I finally stuck to, plus a doctor who told me the truth.
In 2017 I finished a health coach training programme aligned to the NBHWC standards. In 2018 I signed a lease on 313 5th Street, put a leaf-and-heart sign in the window, and started with four clients — two of them former co-workers.
Eight years later the studio is still deliberately small. I run every one-to-one session myself. That caps how many people I can help in a week, and I've decided that's the right trade.

Five house rules
These are printed on the wall by the door, and they decide what we say yes and no to.
1. Two changes, not ten
People don't fail because they lack willpower. They fail because they were handed a twelve-item protocol. We pick two things and hold them for a fortnight.
2. Stay in our lane
We are coaches and educators. Diagnosis, prescriptions and dosage changes belong to your physician and pharmacist, full stop.
3. Nothing to sell you
We don't stock supplements, we take no affiliate commission, and no one earns a bonus for upgrading your package.
4. Small rooms
Eight seats maximum in every class. If you can't ask a question out loud, the class isn't doing its job.
5. Write it down
Every client leaves with a one-page plan in plain English, emailed the same evening. Memory is not a plan.
6. Local first
Herbs from Ohio growers where we can, referrals to local clinicians and dietitians, and a standing discount for Washington County caregivers.

Why Marietta
Marietta is a river town of about fourteen thousand people, and that scale shapes the studio. Clients are neighbours. Word travels in a morning. You cannot overpromise here and stay in business — which is a healthy pressure for a wellness practice to live under.
We serve Marietta, Belpre, Beverly and Devola in Ohio, plus Williamstown and Vienna across the river in West Virginia. Video sessions are available for clients further out in Athens or Parkersburg.
